BE FIERCE LIKE A BEAR
Bears are extraordinarily intelligent animals.
They have far superior navigation skills to humans; excellent memories; large brain to body ratio; and use tools in various contexts from play to hunting.

Bears are very strong and powerful animals.
They have been known to bend open car doors and pry open windshields in their search for food. They routinely roll over huge rocks and logs in search of food.

Bears can run up to 40 miles per hour, fast enough to catch a running horse.
A grizzly bear can maintain a speed of 25 to 28 mph for two miles. This is quite impressive considering their size and weight.

The bear’s strength is not merely physical.
It is a creature of great mental fortitude, capable of enduring periods of scarcity during hibernation, only to emerge in the spring, ready to face the world again.

A bear’s aggression is usually a defensive response.
For instance, grizzlies, especially sows with cubs, can be very aggressive towards other bears and people they perceive as threats

When bears are feeling threatened, they assert their presence with a powerful roar.
This assertiveness is a stark reminder of the importance of standing up for ourselves when threatened.

Bears symbolize much more than just strength and resilience.
They inspire us to assert ourselves in times of danger, to protect those we love, and to stand our ground when necessary.
